Judith A. Wallace's Obituary
Judith Wallace, 80, formerly of Springfield IL, died July 21, 2019, in her daughter’s home in Champaign, IL.
She was born August 10, 1938, in Decatur, IL to Glenn and Pauline (Kraft) Flanders. She married Joseph B. Wallace and he passed away July 11, 2002.
Judy worked at her husband’s business Town and Country Hairdresser for many years. Then for CVS for over 30 years before she retired. She enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s basketball games and traveling with her childhood girlfriends, but most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her seven children, Joseph Brice (Debbie McBride Wallace) Wallace of Springfield, Marsha (Jim) Campbell of Littleton CO, Gregory Wallace of Delta CO, Sherrill (Kenneth) Kraudel of Springfield IL, Terri Miele of Bonita Springs FL, Susan Wallace Good (John Good) of Champaign IL, Jacqueline Wallace (Bud) VanDerWal of Springfield IL;14 Grandchildren,14 great– grandchildren and 1 great–great–grandchild.
Judy was preceded in death by, her parents; her husband, JB Wallace; her son, Kane Wallace; and her sister, Glenna Torry.
Graveside services to celebrate the life of Judith Wallace will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at the Mary Queen of Angels Mausoleum in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Animal Protective League of Springfield 1001 Taintor Rd, Springfield, IL 62702.
