Judy L. Carr's Obituary
DECATUR- Judy L. Carr, 62, of Decatur, passed away at 4:42 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at her residence.
Private services to celebrate Judy's life will be held at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with the 'Flight Home' Ceremony to conclude the service. Judy was born on May 11, 1947 in Decatur, the daughter of Raymond and Bernice (Buoy) Montgomery. She was a care giver for most of her life and she enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling, and the outdoors. She married Richard A. Carr Jr. July 17, 1965. He preceded her in death January 11, 1999.
She leaves behind her loving companion Joe Walters of Oreana and his daughters Pam and Shelly, son: Richard Carr III and wife Teresa of Dalton City, daughter: Brenda Smith and husband Dickie of Snyder, Colorado, grandchildren: Nichole Carr, Derek Carr, Casey Stewart, and Dickie Smith, Jr., great-grandson: Cameron Carr, step-son: Richard A. Carr, step-daughters: Marilyn Heiser and husband Mike and Mary Carlisle and husband Duane, sisters: Deanna Duvall and husband Larry of Laporte, Texas, Marjorie Maple and husband Joe of Laporte, Texas, Donna Cooper and husband Bob of Decatur, Pam Siere and husband John of Decatur, brothers: Robert Montgomery and Gail of Livingston, Texas, and David Montgomery and wife Laurie of Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Michael, and step-daughter Jackie Schultz.
