Judy A. Green's Obituary
Judy Anne Green, 76, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 8:15 A.M. on Saturday (03-04-2023) in Decatur Memorial Hospital Decatur, IL.
Judy was born on September 21, 1946, in Kinmundy, IL, the daughter of Darrell Leonard West and Rochelle (Butts) West. She married John Charles Green on July 30, 1966, in Decatur, IL.
Judy was a founding member of Christ Lutheran Church. She retired from McKinley Court Nursing Home as Director of Environmental Services in 2013 after 30 years of service. Judy was an avid bear collector, loved watching old movies, was a generous sender of cards and she was a great storyteller.
She is survived by her children: John Jason Green and wife Eleanor of Starkville, MS; Valerie Anne Poling of Decatur, IL; and Tracy Lynn Hart and partner Zach Hart of Lakeside Park, KY; seven grandchildren: Edith Marie Green, Tony Green, Taylor Green, Treyton Sullivan-Poling, Isaac Hart, Christopher Hart, and Alex Hart; one great grandchild Henry Hart; one brother: David West of Kinmundy, IL; three sisters: Linda Davis of Decatur, IL; Mary West of Decatur, IL; and Alice Cash of Albion, IL.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Brenda West and two brothers Larry West and Walter West.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday (03-10-2023) at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home with visitation from 9:00 A.M. until service time. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery Decatur, IL.
