Julia L. Bright, 92, of Decatur, IL, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2019, at River Birch Senior Living in Springfield, IL. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 8, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Read Obituary
I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Julie and the whole family’s visits to Boston. She had so much energy and was so eager to learn and to listen to what was going on in our lives. She will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers for Aunt Julie and all of her children and grandchildren. So sorry we are unable to attend her services. Love to all, Phyllis Andreottola.
Growing up my maiden name was Kilton. My parents and Julie and Ed were friends and neighbors. I remember when I was little, Julie, my mom Mary Kilton, and I went somewhere in her station wagon and picked up a old oak medicine Cabinet that mom refinished and used as a China cabinet. When mom passed in 2005, Julie came over and helped me go thru Moms antiques. She was so kind. Sorry for your loss.
Aunt julie was one of the most exciting peeople that I’ve met. All of the Lubker’s made it through their childhood. Especially after their father gave their home away in a card game.I know my Mother Virginia will be excited to see her again.I’m in no hurry to see them all. Julie, if you could put in a good word for me in the great beyond and make me an antique.
