Julia Anna (Judy) Finger's Obituary
On September 15, 2022, at the age of 82, Julia Anna (Judy) Finger peacefully passed away with loving family members by her side. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.
Judy was born June 1, 1940, to Charles E Mearida and Constance Carmen Halsey. Both preceded her in death.
Judy married Jerome “Diz” Finger on December 3, 1960, and had one son, Jeff. Diz has been waiting in Heaven with his dancing shoes ready since April 22, 2009. We are comforted knowing they’re reunited and can dance in the streets of Heaven forever.
Judy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who was always there when we needed her. She left her small piece of this world a better place and she touched many lives around her. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community of Wapella.
Left to cherish memories are her son, Jeff (Jo) Finger; her sister, Sherry Fryman, all of Wapella; grandchildren: Bryan (Dana White) Finger of Clinton and Michael Finger of Waynesville; nieces: Shelley (Jimmy) Holland; Kim (Kevin) Mandrell, Kelley Fryman, and Tina Coppenbarger; nephew: Derek (Beth) Fryman; along with many great nieces and nephews.
The family has entrusted Graceland-Fairlawn Funeral Home with cremation rites. There will be a graveside service Friday, September 23, at 10:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery, Clinton. Pastor Steve Evans will officate. Memorials may be may to Wapella Christian Church. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
