Julie Ann Mulrooney's Obituary
Julie Ann Mulrooney, 59, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 4:46 A.M. on Sunday (11-16-2025) at home.
Julie was born on June 3, 1966, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Richard M. Theobald, Sr, and Kay Anne (Kane) Theobald. She married C. Patrick Mulrooney on December 12, 2012, in Decatur, Il.
Julie worked at International Control Services as a Coordinator. She also coached Special Olympic athletes. Julie loved riding the motorcycle with Pat, going on vacations, and trying new restaurants when going out to eat with Pat.
Julie is survived by her husband Pat of Decatur, IL; daughters: Samantha Rains and wife Shandra of Hutsonville, IL, and Andrea Langford and fiancé Robert “Bobby” Angell of Decatur, IL.; two brothers: Richard Theobald, Jr, wife Angie of Augusta, GA, and Jeffrey Theobald and wife Sharlyn of Grand Bay, AL; two sisters: Becky Briney and husband Tom of Pass Christian, MS, and Peggy Metzger and husband Mike of Decatur, IL; mother-in-law Marquitta (Skeets) Mulrooney, two aunts, several nieces, nephews and cousins; great-nieces, great nephews, her best friend Penny and her work family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepdaughter Kaitlyn Mulrooney, and great niece Brooklyn K. Adkins.
Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics Region I.
