Julie McWard Parrish's Obituary
On Thursday, December 9, 2021, Julie Annette McWard Parrish moved on from this life.
Julie was born January 10, 1980 and lived most of her life in the Warrensburg/Decatur area. She also resided for some time in Chicago. She was a graduate of Warrensburg-Latham High School and of Richland Community College.
She was a Registered Nurse who cared for the sick and infirmed, a farmer who worked the soil, an exceptionally gifted artist and athlete, a talented mechanic, a Chicago Cubs fan, an incredible cook as well as a music and animal lover who could never have too many pets regardless of species including dogs, cats, a parrot, a donkey, and a raccoon.
She was a mother who loved her children; a daughter, stepdaughter, little sister, niece, cousin, and friend to people whom she loved and who loved her back furiously.
We already miss her beautiful face, sharp wit, extreme intelligence, biting sense of humor, infectious laughter, beaming smile and genuine concern for others.
Julie was truly a one-of-a-kind individual who lived life on her terms. There will never be another like her. Until we all meet again…Godspeed and peaceful travels Jules.
Burial will be at Illini Cemetery in Warrensburg, IL.
Family surviving our beloved Julie include her daughters Olivia and Evelyn Parrish of Warrensburg, her father Lyle McWard of Decatur, her mother and stepfather Jackie and Neal Loveall of Warrensburg, her big brother Timothy McWard of Chicago, her aunts Nancy Followell of Katy, TX and Sandra Hanes of Kansas City, MO, her uncles Larry (Connie) McWard of Morrisonville, and Donald McWard of Owaneco, in addition to many cousins.
