DECATUR- Junior D. Logan, 83 of Decatur, passed away at 5:45 AM Monday, January 15, 2024, at Fair Havens Senior Living, Decatur.
Services to celebrate Junior’s life will be held at 11 AM Monday, January 22, 2024, at the Wesley United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Wesley United Methodist Church or to the Macon County Honor Guard. Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is assisting the family. Junior was born on August 19, 1940, in Decatur, a son of John R. and Gladys Mae (Long) Logan. He retired after 40 years of service at ADM as the head of maintenance at the West Plant Refinery. Junior was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He loved to go to rummage sales, eat at Wendy’s and work on and sell mowers. Junior was always looking for a good deal. He married the love of his life, Linda Rena Kramer and they shared 45 years of marriage before she passed away on October 26, 2007.
Surviving are his sons- Brett Logan and wife Pam of Forsyth, Brian Logan and wife Janna of Argenta and Bruce Logan and wife Tia of Decatur, daughter- Belinda Voudrie and husband Mike of Green Forest, AR, brother- Tom Logan and wife Jan of Little Rock, AR and sister- Darlene Logan of Little Rock, AR, fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Special friends who have passed away are Frank and Joyce Jackson, Donovan Curry, Duane Curry, Mickey and Joe Grarvin and Danny McDuffie.
Junior never met a stranger; he was loved by many friends and especially his family.
Junior was reunited in Heaven with his parents, wife, 12 of his siblings and granddaughter Elizabeth Rena Logan.
