Karen Curry's Obituary
Karen Curry, 69, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2020, surrounded by family, at Villa Clara in Decatur. She was born on March 21st, 1951 to Donald Sturgeon and Betty Chilton, both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her grandmother, sister, and a nephew. Surviving are her husband James Curry, daughter Jamica (Jamie) Curry, son David Lock (Linda), granddaughter Taylor Patterson (Erik), grandson David Eric Lock, sisters: Kim Cooper (Mark), Sherry Sturgeon, brothers: Rick Sturgeon (Judy), Ronnie Sturgeon, 8 nieces, 9 nephew, 12 great nieces, 14 great nephews, 1 great great niece, and a great grandma to 4.
She was loved and considered family by many others. Some of her surviving bonus family members include Marci and Jerad Patterson and their children Kyli and Kane Patterson, Kirstan Keeling (Colten), Colton Cooper (Tyler), and 15 other bonus grandchildren.
A celebration of life is being planned for a later date. Details to come.
