Kathy Sue Dunn, 67, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 5:16 P.M. on Monday (07-27-2026) at her home.
Kathy was born on May 28, 1959, in Peoria, IL, the daughter of Charles Edward Seeley, Jr, and Eva Lorene (Bush) Seeley. She married Michael Lee Dunn on May 19, 2012, in Blue Mound, IL.
Kathy was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She dedicated her life to nursing for over 40 years. Kathy loved gardening, going to the beach, and vacationing with friends.
She is survived by her husband Mike of Decatur, IL; daughter: Nikki McKee and husband Jerry of Decatur, IL; three stepsons: Nick Ruthrauff of South Bend, IN; Adam Byers-Dunn and husband Chris of Indianapolis, IN; Ashton Dunn and wife Areial of Blue Mound, IL; grandchildren: Hazelynn Cole, Hattie Dunn, and Faith McKee; brother: Michael Lee Seeley of Decatur, IL; mother-in-law: Marlene Dunn of Blue Mound, IL; sisters-in-law: Stefanie Shaffer and husband Tim of Decatur, IL; Cristina Keppler and husband Greg of Warrensburg, IL; brothers-in-law: Gregory Dunn of Blue Mound, IL; Terry Ruthrauff and wife Penny of Warrensburg, IL; and Lee Michael Cumberworth and Tiffany of Quinton, VA
A Funeral Service will be held at Grace Baptist Church at 4:00 P.M. Monday (08-03-2026) with visitation from 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the church.
