Kathy Jo Sheppard's Obituary
Kathy Jo Sheppard, 65, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away September 28, 2022 at the Loft Rehabilitation Center of Rock Springs.
Kathy was born in Decatur on August 2, 1957, the daughter of Edward and Marjorie (Simpson) Lane. She was an LPN and worked at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Kathy is survived by her son Jared Sheppard; and siblings Judy Powell of Decatur and Michael (Cheryl) Lane of Lakeland, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Bill Powell.
A graveside service will be held in Graceland Cemetery at 11am on Monday, October 3. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
