Colleen Kay Bradbury's Obituary
Colleen Kay Bradbury, 61, of Shelbyville passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Colleen was born on January 25, 1956 in Joliet, IL the daughter of Herbert E. and Janis (Becker) Holoffe. She was a former dispatcher for the Shelby County Sherriff’s Office. She was an advocate for Bikers Against Child Abuse B.A.C.A. and was a Child, Court, Agency, and Primary Liaison. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Amanda Lange (Billy Adams) of Shelbyville; step-daughters, Kristina Phelps (Jared), Sara Bradbury (Chris Wood), Bree Bradbury, and Mandy Bradbury (Joe) all of Shelbyville; mother, Janis Holoffe of Decatur; sister, Katy Blakey (Greg) of Mt. Zion; nieces, Kristen Ewing (Matt) and Chandra Voyles (Scott Chamberlin); nephew, J.C. Walker; 13 grandchildren, and other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great–nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, son, Todd Lange, and sister, Janne Walters.
Service to celebrate Colleen life will be 3:30 PM Saturday, March 18, 2017 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2 – 3:30 PM Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family. The family request causal attire.
