Keldon S. Pigati's Obituary
Keldon Scott Pigati, 28, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in Springfield, IL.
He was born in Decatur on August 15, 1997, to Ronald Scott Pigati and Kelly Rhodes Schaal. He married Danielle Nikol Barnes on January 31, 2026, in Decatur. He attended Resurrection Life Church.
Keldon pursued happiness wherever he could, from small joys to great ones. As a Disney Adult, Star Wars enthusiast, and Lord of the Rings fanatic, he was dedicated to collecting items that filled his home with the glee that these interests brought him. He also loved to play dinosaurs with his nephews, spend time with the many pets that he loved over the years, and enjoyed playing video games.
While many of his interests took him indoors, Keldon truly enjoyed nature. Life was best when he was out camping, whether he was sitting around the fire or listening to the rain hit the top of his tent. He was the happiest while spending time with his family and friends, playing games, and attending cookouts.
He was loved by all who knew him, and will be deeply missed by: his wife, Danielle Pigati; parents, Ronald Pigati, Kelly (Paul) Schaal; mother-in-law, Kim Perkins; sister, Kelsey Pigati; sisters-in-law, Jessica Barnes and Samantha Perkins; great-grandfather, John Kelly Yokley; grandparents, Joan Fidger, Charles “Tim” and Erma Rhodes; Aunt, Miranda (Jeremy) Cribbs; Uncles, Rick Pigati and Judson (Julie) Rhodes; nephews, Lucenzo and Thiago; as well as many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by: great-grandmother, Jackie Yokley; grandfather, Jack Fidger; and Uncle, Rob Pigati.
