Kenneth Reed Lee's Obituary
Kenneth Reed Lee, 64, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away February 16, 2026, at the Loft Rehabilitation of Rock Springs.
Kenny was born in Decatur on March 9, 1961, the son of Vondal Lee and Audrey Bolsen. He served proudly and honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He later became involved in computer science, which remained a great interest for the rest of his life. He worked in telecommunications. In his free time, he enjoyed playing cornhole, playing basketball, and teaching his son how to play chess. His greatest joy was spending time with his beloved grandchildren. At different times in his life, he belonged to the Baptist church in Bethany and to Crusaders Church in Decatur.
Kenny is survived by his children Seth (Meagan) Lee of Atwood, IL, Aaron (Chey) Lee of Mariana, AK, and Jacob Lee of Decatur, IL; siblings Connie Nunn, Vonda (Rich) Murdock, and Brian Bolsen; grandchildren Elana Lee, Skyley Lee, Liam Lee, Lyndon Cowgill, Logan Cowgill, Octavia Lee, Aleah Lee, Ryder Lee, Koa Lee, and Ky; and former spouse Maleeia Lee. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Ashley Lee, son Kevin Lee, and brother Donnie Russell.
Visitation for Kenny will be held from 9am to 10am on Monday, February 23, at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 10am, also at the funeral home. Burial in Camp Butler will be at 12pm. Condolences may be shared with the family at https://www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
