I wanted to offer my belated condolences to Paula and family. By chance I stumble onto Kevin's obituary.
Kevin, was a cousin of mine, who I lost touch with over the years, as our families drifted apart
I do have a special memory to share. As 9 or 10 year old, I took a bus over to Decatur from Springfield to spend the weekend with Kevin and his parents. On Saturday morning, Kevin, his father and I got up early to go fishing at lake Sheblyville. I remember the lake being new enough that the flooded trees, were still alive and had leaves on them. We worked their boat into the timber and fished in the shade. Though we caught nothing, I had a wonderful time with Kevin and my uncle John.
I remember both of them as having a wonderful dry sense of humor.
I too caught the motorcycle bug in 2009 and spent much time traveling the USA. I only wish I had known Kevin loved to ride as I would have looked him up and made sure we rode at least a little bit together.
RIP Kevin
