Kimberly Ann Tackett's Obituary
Kimberly Ann Tackett, 70, of Atlanta, IL, passed away on Thursday (03-19-2026) at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Kimberly was born on February 3, 1956, in Joliet, Illinois, the daughter of Jack Daniel Gessaman and Marlene Joyce (Fothergill) Dougherty.
She was a devoted mother and a woman of deep faith, she loved rock and roll, Jesus, and her family with her whole heart. She moved her family from Joliet to Chicago, Glenview, Decatur, and finally to Atlanta, Illinois. She will be dearly missed.
Kimberly is survived by her son Robert Tackett and wife Sarah of Clarksville, TN, two grandchildren Anna Tackett and Daniel Tackett and sister Jody Hanson of New Symerna Beach, FL.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday (04-04-2026) at Bonfield Cemetery, Bonfield, IL.
