L. Louise Hensley's Obituary
Decatur-L. Louise Hensley, 88, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 in her home.
Louise was born June 2, 1925, in Williamsville, Illinois, the daughter of Edgar and Lizzie Marie (Stone) Beauchamp. She was a loving devoted homemaker. She was a life time member of the PTA for Decatur Public School District #61. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and cooking. She married Walter Hensley June 26, 1942 in Decatur. He preceded her in death July 13, 1993.
Louise leaves behind her son Mark Hensley, daughters Jo Lynn Garten, Melody Carter and husband Bob, and Lisa Hensley and companion Ted Keylon, brothers Kenneth, Thomas, and William Beauchamp, sister Beverly Black, twenty-one grandchildren, and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, sister, grandchild, and daughter Cherry Kay Schade.
Louise was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.
Services to celebrate Louise’s life will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
