Lance M. Sherman's Obituary
Lance M. Sherman, 71, of Decatur, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015 in his home with his family by his side.
Lance was born September 29, 1943 in Buffalo, NY, the son of Joseph and Janet (Fagelman) Sherman. Lance was a computer analyst who graduated from the University of Buffalo. He was a person who was interested in everything. He liked to fly model airplanes, play ping pong, and watch television. There was no one quite like Lance Sherman.
Lance leaves behind his wife, Geri; mother, Janet Moslow of Decatur; daughter, Juliet and her husband M. Shane Thompson of Decatur; and grandchildren, Weston and Lola Thompson.
He is preceded in death by his father and brother, Lee Zimmerman.
A memorial visitation to celebrate Lance’s life will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2015 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home.
