Larry E. Rosenbury's Obituary
Larry E. Rosenbury, 71, of Decatur passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 in McKinley Court Nursing Home.
Larry was born on August 29, 1945 in Decatur, IL the son of Arnold R. and Pearl R. (Locke) Rosenbury. He served his country proudly in the U.S. army. He was retired from Illinois Bell (AT&T). He was a lifetime member of the Decatur and Warrensburg Gun clubs, and the NRA. He married Barbara Elzenheimer on March 9, 1966 in Frankfurt, Germany.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara; daughter, Jaqueline A. Moraco (David) of Canton, MI; sister, Carole J. Green (John) of Melborne, FL; Decatur; grandchildren, Lauren Moraco, Claire Moraco, and Derek Moraco.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside service to celebrate Larry’s life will be 11 AM Tuesday, June 13, 2017 in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, IL with military rites conducted by The Inter-Veterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Monday in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Memorial are suggested to The Macon County Animal Shelter.
