Larry D. Wilber's Obituary
Decatur – Larry D. Wilber, 78, of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Fair Havens Senior Living.
Larry was born October 3, 1942, in Decatur, the son of Charles and Naomi (Johnson) Wilber. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and worked as an automobile mechanic lastly at Northtown Ford. Larry married Connie Jane Johnson in 1985 and she preceded him in death on December 26, 2017.
Larry is survived by his children: Lynette (Mike) Coulter of CO, Julie (Steve) Lach of Brownstown, and Amy Jones of TN; grandchildren: Chad Wilber, Matthew (Brittney) Kelly, Sean (Elizabeth) Coulter, Nicole Jones, Jacob (Allie) Kelly, Evan Coulter, and Steven Lach, IV; great-grandchildren: Lillian Kelly, Louis Kelly, and Bennett Kelly; step-children: Kim Trammell of ID, Mark (Ki Eads) Trammell of IN; step-grandchildren: Xander and Veronica Trammell; siblings: Lonnie (Gloria) Wilber of Decatur, and David (Karen) Wilber of Macon; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, wife Connie, infant daughter Lori, son Larry D. Wilber, Jr, and stepson Brett Trammell.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 18, 2021, from 1 pm until the service time of 2 pm at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Mary Queen of Angels Mausoleum at Graceland Cemetery.
