My dear big brother, how I am going to miss our chats. when I see you again we won't have to say "what ,so much". We will have perfect hearing!!! God was so good to me when he gave me you for a brother. Such wonderful memories I have. You even gave me my name when I was born. Darlene, because I was such a "Darling" (I still am). I can see that smile now. LaVerne I will miss you,and our chats, but it won't be long till I will see you again. Your Sis DarleneDarlene Moore
What I remember most about uncle Lavern is his smile and quiet ways. Loved going to Lavern and Virginia's house. Playing with my cousins. Enjoyed hearing the stories that were told, and as Shelly said having uncle Lavern show us the chinchilla's and purple Martian houses. His smile was as always like grandma Moore's was. Just always there. He will be missed by all who knew him. Prayers for the family at their time of sorrow.Roxanne
Uncle LaVerne, I remember being at your home and you showing me the Chinchillas and taking the time to explain all about them to me, I was so young and seemed to be in everybody's way. I'm sure to you it didn't seem like much but that afternoon you made me feel like the most important person in the world! Thank you! I'll always remember and be grateful for that time. Love, Rochelle (Shelly)
