From the start of my career, Lee Ann has been one of those cheerleaders and pillars that any doctor could hope for. She was a source of information, guidance, and friendship to help me navigate leading my local dental society right after I started practicing. Weather it was over a phone call or email, I could hear the joy and feel her smile that radiated from her. I would discuss ideas that I had with her in regards to community outreach, and she would always follow up with me to see if I had made progress with the events and give me fantastic ideas to how to publicize the event. I was also blessed to be placed on her committee when I became a trustee. I know there were so many days and nights that Lee Ann was struggling with her health, and her body was trying to slow her down while she was fighting her battles. She however, was a fighter that would not let her body control her mind and attitude. She had a beautiful personality and desire to serve her profession in a spirit that is rare to find. I will truly miss her presence and support in my life.
