To LeEtta's family,My deepest sympathy upon your great loss. I worked with LeEtta thru the '70s-80s at IP. When I started there shortly after high school, she passed on to me her immeasurable wisdom not only with work experience but childbearing and childrearing. I remember when a coworker was having a difficult time raising two children alone and had little extra for work clothing, Lee brought in some of her older (she said) clothing and wouldn't take a penny. Jack and Family – I am so very sorry for your loss of LeEtta. As a young engineer at Illinois Power, my first job away from "home", LeEtta was one person that made me feel like I had family in Decatur. She always took care of we young ones and she would make sure we looked presentable for "big" meetings and tell us if she thought we was off-base in our comments or that we should or shouldn't do something. What a great business mentor she was. She was so very kind to me and for that I am eternally grateful. I see her picture here and remember her eyes, her very kind eyes, and her laughter. LeEtta loved you all so very very much. It was evident in all of the stories we heard of the whole family over the years. Sorry to hear that LeEtta passed away. She will be missed. Growing up she made me feel like family. When she walked into the room, she would lite up the room. She was the rock that kept us all straight. She has been in my prayers for some time. the family will need our support. please keep them in your prayers. RIP doug
