Forever loved!
Leigh Ann was headstrong from the day she was born. When we lived in Michigan. we had to walk to school no matter what the weather. It had snowed for a long time and we were cold. One of us decided to take a "shortcut" through a field and Leigh got stuck in a snowdrift. No amount of coaxing could get her out. I had to go to the school, get a teacher and go back to where she was to get her out of the snowbank. Once we got to her she was out of the snow waiting on us eating her lunch. I got in trouble for leaving her!!!
Everyone knew how much she loved animals, and again in Michigan, we were out in a patch of woods and she was trying to get a muskrat to come to play with her. He didn't play, he bit her. Her dad gathered up a posse of buddies and they went to find and kill the muskrat so he could be tested for rabies. She cried for days because they did that.
She could be the most aggravating person in the world, and sometimes the kindest.
She had a hard life, but as she would always tell me...it was her life and she wasn't going to let anyone tell her how to live it. And no one could.
I loved her, in spite of her sometimes.
She was my sister.

I’ll always remember when the twins were brought to the farm on William st and how happy to have them. I spent a summer in Kansas with her and I sure remember those chicken and dumplings! Our deepest sympathy to all her family.
I took this picture one day when we had a gals day out and we both got our hair and nails done! Great memories with this loud, stubborn, crazy lady!! She moved around alot in life...but I'm sure she is content in her forever home with Jesus and I look forward to seeing her again! She loved her family and Alvin too!
