Lena Lorraine Terry's Obituary
Lena Lorraine Terry, 67, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away April 6, 2024, at the Loft Rehabilitation of Decatur.
Lena was born in Decatur on June 12, 1956, the daughter of Robert and Pearl (Lyons) Cassidy. She married Lynn E. Terry on July 8, 1977, in Decatur, and they enjoyed many happy years together until his death in 2019. Lena worked as an inventory analyst for Caterpillar. She was a member of the UAW. In her free time she enjoyed reading and crocheting, which she frequently did while watching her favorite TV shows.
Lena is survived by her children: Nicholas “Andy” Terry, Matthew Terry, and Amanda Terry, all of Decatur; brothers Robert (Rose) Cassidy and Guy (Stephanie) Cassidy; stepmother Nancy Cassidy; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Visitation for Lena will be from 5pm to 7pm Wednesday, April 17, at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Graveside funeral service will be at 11am Thursday, April 18, in Fairlawn Cemetery.
