Leo A. Pride's Obituary
Leo A. Pride, 56, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 in his home.
Leo was born October 3, 1957 in Decatur, IL, the son of Leo and Helen Louise (Nash) Pride. Music was Leo’s entire life. He was a musician and played guitar for several local bands such as Night Moves and Decatur Rhythm and Blues. He married Katherine Jones on February 14, 1994 in Decatur. She preceded him in death on November 2, 2008.
Leo leaves behind his son Ian Pride of Decatur; daughter Erin Pride of Decatur; brother, Chris Pride; sisters, Carol (Jim) Thompson of Decatur; Sharon Pride of Champaign; Cathy (Ike) Henson of Decatur; and five grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Katherine, parents, and grandparents.
Honoring Leo’s wishes, cremation services will be provided by Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory. No services are planned at this time.
