Leo David Smith's Obituary
Washington – Leo David Smith, 87, of Yelm WA, formerly of Decatur passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017.
Leo was born August 3, 1929, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Albert E. and Olga B. (Wracic) Smith. An US Air Force veteran during the Korean War, Leo retired as a maintenance/electrician at Firestone. He married Carol J. Wilcut November 19, 1960 in St. Louis, MO, and she preceded him in death March 15, 2008.
Surviving is his daughter, Sherri (husband; Charles) Tate of Yelm, WA; one great-grandchild (on the way), four grandchildren; Loni N. Brannon (currently serving in the US Navy in CA), David S. Brannon of Bremerton, WA, Brian D. Atwood, III of Decatur and Tori J. Atwood also of Decatur, other relatives and friends.
Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard at 10 am, Thursday, August 3, 2017 in Graceland Cemetery.
