Leonard L. Williams' Obituary
Leonard L. Williams, 61, of Decatur, IL, passed away December 15, 2018 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Leonard was born September 9, 1957 in Muncie, IN, the son of Arthur D. and Cora Magnolia (Tolliver) Williams. He was a veteran of the US Army. While in the Army he was given a good conduct medal and he also received an Expert Marksman badge with the M-14 rifle BAR. He was an administrative specialist. Upon an honorable discharge, he worked for K’s Merchandise and Wagner Casting. During his leisure time he enjoyed dancing and playing cards.
Leonard was survived by his children, Brandon Danbridge of Denver, CO, Trevis, Kalin and Jacori Williams all of Decatur, IL; siblings, James Campbell of Indianapolis, IN, Emma Williams (Harry Singleton) of Decatur, IL, Cora Combs (Cornelius) of Decatur, IL, Annie Woodland (Robert) of Decatur, IL, Cheryl Kennedy (Tim) and one granddaughter and a host of nieces and nephews and special friend, Angela Cook.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers IV, David and Junior Campbell.
The family would like to thank Cancer Care Center and Decatur Memorial Hospital for the care of our loved one.
Funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon, Friday, December 28, 2018 at Heartland Community Church. Family will gather with friends one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
