Leroy Maschoff's Obituary
Leroy Edgar Maschoff, 83, of Maroa, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015, at his home.
Leroy was born November 27, 1931 in Hoyleton, IL to Henry William and Clara Saphiona (Ghrisom) Maschoff. He was an MP in the Army serving in Germany. He was a set up man for Borg-Warner for many years. He married Carolyn Lynn on February 3, 1976 in Reno, Nevada. He loved riding motorcycles, camping, blue grass music and model airplanes.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carolyn; three sons, Larry (Kay) Maschoff of Decatur, Charles (Lora) Maschoff of Maroa and Ronnie Maschoff of Decatur; two step-sons, Dave (Francine) Wilson of Swansea, IL and Jeff (Carla) Wilson of Virginia Beach, Virginia; three step-daughters, Kelli (Steve) Wetherholt of Decatur, Julie Jackson of Decatur and Amy (Chris) Brandt of Oak Harbor, WA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Tina Young; two brothers and one sister.
Services to celebrate the life of Leroy Maschoff will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Wounded Warriors.
