Lieselotte Proeschl's Obituary
Decatur – Lieselotte Proeschl, 96, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
Lieselotte was born on April 9, 1929, in Germany, the daughter of Siegfied Fuld and Katarina Raab. She worked as an x-ray technician and married Bernard E. Proeschl on October 15, 1955, and he passed away on October 18, 2000. Lieselotte was a member of the German club and loved to travel, cook, bake, garden, crochet, knit and sew.
Lieselotte was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister Johanna Schillinger.
Lieselotte is survived by her children: Bernard (Wendy) Proeschl of MI and Carla Proeschl of Decatur; sisters: Inge Kaltenhauser and Barbara Raab both of Germany.
There will be no formal services. Private entombment will take place in the Star of Hope Mausoleum at Graceland Cemetery.
