Lila L. Stogsdill's Obituary
Decatur- Lila L. Stogsdill, 80, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Heritage Manor in Mt. Zion, IL.
Lila was born on August 7, 1931 in Decatur, the daughter of Dale V. and Sylvia (House) Longbons. She married John Stogsdill on September 30, 1955 in Blue Mound, IL.
Surviving are her husband, John Stogsdill; daughter, Carol (Michael) Celer of Roselle, IL; brother, John R.(Fran Coise) Longbons of England; and grandchildren, Michael Celer and Jillian (Levi) Young.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Campbell.
Services to celebrate Lila's life will be 2 pm Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery and services will conclude with a 'Flight Home' Ceremony. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
