Linda F. Davis' Obituary
Linda F. (Cassell) Davis, 83, of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at home.
Linda Faye (Cassell) Davis was born on December 3, 1942, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Everett and Helen (Berry) Cassell. She married Garry E. Davis on June 20, 1964. Linda graduated from Stephen Decatur High School in 1960 and Milikin University in 1964 where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority, and Vice President of the SIEA (1963). She was a retired elementary school teacher from Indiana and Illinois districts.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Helen Cassell; sister Barbara Cassell Weber; brother-in-law Robert Weber; and brother-in-law Dennis Davis.
Surviving is her daughter Kristy Davis of Alexandria, VA; son Jeffrey Davis of Decatur, IL; grandsons: Paxton Davis and Jaxon Davis, both of Springfield, MO.
In honor of Linda's wishes, no services will be held. Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
