Linda Duncan, 79, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in Decatur, IL.
Wife of Jim Duncan. Daughter of Joseph and Nellie Miller. Stepmother of Jim and Geoff Duncan. Grandmother of Sean Duncan, Ryne Duncan, Graye Lucas, and Jordan Duncan. Aunt of Donna Lindemulder, Joetta Miller, Chuck and Kelly Miller, and Angie Rager.
Linda spent 35 years helping those in need. She was tenacious, "all in" to educate herself and those around her on new goals and standards. She was the very best friend to everyone, totally self-sacrificing. She was extremely bright and dedicated. She spent 35 years working for social security, ensuring her clients got the best possible benefits available to them. She loved to read non-fiction and learn history about the things around her. She always wanted to try new things and experiences. She loved to do fun and exciting things. She was very caring and benevolent to her family and friends, taking care to help them in their own special way. She was very inquisitive about new things in her life and extremely anxious to educate herself on all that was involved. She loved and cared for her family and friends and she will be in their hearts forever.
