Linda K. Pierson's Obituary
Decatur-Linda K. (Hartman) Pierson, 63, of Decatur, passed away at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Decatur Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
Services to celebrate Linda's life will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 12, 2010 in the chapel of Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home, with Pastor Mitch Flesch officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment with the 'Flight Home' Ceremony will be at the Veteran's Section in Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation or Calvary Baptist Church. Online condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
Linda was born August 15, 1946 in Decatur, the daughter of Roland and Dorothy Coulter. She was previously employed at the Decatur Public School District #61. Linda was also a loving homemaker and companion to her husband. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan. She married Clyde L. Pierson October 17, 1987.
She leaves behind her husband Clyde, son; David E. Hartman and wife Sarah of Decatur, step-daughter; Lori Ann Tharp and husband Patrick of Decatur, sister; Rosemary Thompson of Decatur, grandchildren; Skylar and Hayden Hartman, and step-grandson; Patrick Tharp.
She was reunited in heaven with her parents.
