Linda Kaye Shaffer's Obituary
Decatur – Linda Kaye Shaffer, 82, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, December 01, 2024.
Linda was born on July 26, 1942, in Bradford, PA, the daughter of Ivan and Norma (Halladay) Buchanan.
Linda married Loren E. Shaffer on July 15, 1961, in Bradford, PA. and remained together for 59 years until his passing in 2020.
Surviving is her son David (wife Belinda) Shaffer of CO; grandchildren: Abigail and Sophia, and three great grandchildren. Linda spent the most of her career as a Certified Nurses Assistant and enjoyed helping others.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and brother Ronald Buchanan of Texas.
Funeral service will be 2 PM, Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Star of Hope Mausoleum Chapel at Graceland Cemetery. Entombment will follow the service in the Star of Hope Mausoleum. Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
