Lloyd F. Goff's Obituary
Decatur-Lloyd F. Goff, 66, of Alma, formerly of Decatur, passed away at 12:35 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.
Services to celebrate Lloyd's life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment with 'Flight Home' Ceremony will be in Macon County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family. Lloyd was born August 18, 1944 in Decatur, the son of Henry and Sylvia (Oary) Goff. He loved hunting, fishing, and his dog John.
He leaves behind his brothers Ray and wife Burnette, Darrell and wife Carole, and Willard and wife Carol all of Decatur, sister Helen Eileen Mullins of Decatur, nephew Steve Goff and wife Susan of Flora, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, life partner and soulmate Connie Hager, brothers, Glenn, Eugene, Roy and Jerry, and sister, Pauline Dodson.
