Lomonia "Dee" Diana Eldred's Obituary
Lomonia Diana “Dee” Eldred, 58, of Argenta, Illinois, passed away January 6, 2022 at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital.
Dee was born in Decatur on January 9, 1963, the daughter of Robert and Lomonia (Hill) Stull. Dee worked as a pharmacy tech at Family Drug, where she met Darrell Eldred. They married on July 7, 1984 in Mt. Zion. She later worked as school bus driver for the Argenta-Oreana School District. Dee was a true matriarch of her family. She took loving care of her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her grandchildren were everything to her.
Dee is survived by her husband; children Ashley (Steve) Kennedy of Oreana, Derrick (Sara) Eldred of Cerro Gordo, and Andrew (Tia) Eldred of Oreana; siblings Michael (Kathie) Stull, Allen (Sandra) Stull, Debra (Eric) Kelly, Danny Stull, Kathy Stull, and Jackie Bonn; grandchildren Lillian, Caden, Ava, Molly, Grayson, Daniel, Braxton, Hattie, and Jaxson; father-in-law Stuart Eldred; special friends Sondra Ufkes, Sherry Slemp, and Tammy Kitchens; and a host of extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother David Stull, and mother-in-law Ruby Ann Eldred.
Visitation for Dee will be from 4pm to 6pm on Monday, January 17, at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00am on Tuesday, January 18, at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Star of Hope Mausoleum in Graceland Cemetery. The funeral service will be livestreamed at www.funeralvue.com/login/event#66748.
