Lonnie Raymond Lewis' Obituary
Lonnie Raymond Lewis, 77, of Decatur, IL passed away January 2, 2022 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Lonnie was born October 29, 1944 in Decatur, IL, the son of Clark Alonzo and Henrietta (Owens) Lewis. He was a veteran of the US Navy.
Lonnie loved fishing and was an owner operator of a fishing camp off of Lake Okeechobee in Florida. He also enjoyed hunting and spending time in the outdoors. Surviving are his children, Lonnie Troy Lewis, Loni Rochelle Lewis, siblings, Michael Charles Lewis, Margaret Ann Sanderlin, Linda Marie Wilmoth, Connie Joan Malone, Colleen Elizabeth Lewis, Christie Ann Smith and granddaughter, Haley Lauren Coffin.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Alonzo Shelby Lewis, Georgia Josephine Lewis and uncle, George Leroy Lewis.
Graveside service will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 7, 2021 at Point Pleasant Cemetery.
