Loretta Hines' Obituary
Loretta Hines 87, of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord, on Thursday April 21, 2016, in Manor Court of Clinton.
Loretta was born May 5, 1928, Decatur, IL, the daughter of William Van-Buren and Goldie (McDaniel) Deardorff. She was a member of the Second Church of God. Loretta was a homemaker. She loved crafting, and gardening, spending time with family, and church family.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, one son Leroy Thevenot, three brothers, seven sisters, and one great granddaughter.
Surviving are her daughters, Linda (John) S. Bergman Althouse of Jacksonville, NC, Deborah K. (Gregory) Rutkowske; sisters, Lorraine May of IA, Frances Ewald of Decatur, IL; grandchildren, Timothy Kreher of Decatur, Toby Kreher (Amanda) of Lovington, Taryn Warren of Temple, TX, Michael Winder (son Jordon) of IL, Tracy (Gregory) Young of Weldon; great-grandchildren, Brittaney Kreher, Savannah Reed, Sydney Warren, Wesley Young, Alexander Young, Mason Kreher, Cale Kreher; great-great grandchildren, Dominik Reed, Aiden McClimon, Lyndon Reed, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate Loretta’s life will be 1:30p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home, 2091 N. Oakland Ave. Decatur IL, 62526. Visitation will be from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Second Church of God 2670 E Division St, Decatur, IL 62526
