Lou Ann Johnson's Obituary
Lou Ann Johnson, 59, of Decatur was taken in the loving arms of the Lord, on April 16, 2013 surrounded by friends and family in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Lou Ann was born on September 29, 1953 in Decatur the daughter of Louis and Helen (Richter) Renner. She was a very beloved woman. She was a major contributor to the Pool community and leagues. She has been to many tournaments. She founded with her husband Morris the Wrackless Pool and Billiards Supply and the Rackless Patch program. She was an avid pool player and St. Louis Cardinals fan. She was a wonderful woman, who will be greatly missed. In 2002 she took fifth place in the APA National Jack and Jill Tournament in Las Vegas. She also took second place in the APA state for her division. She married Morris Johnson Jr. on September 28, 1993 in Decatur.
Surviving are her soul mate , Morris; sons, Alan Ralph (Kim) of Decatur; Timothy Ralph of Branson, MO; daughter, Amy Ledwig Buchen (Joel Arterburn) of Decatur; step-sons, Morris Johnson III (Stacy) of Mt. Carmel, IL; Anthony Tombaugh of Maroa; step-daughters, Glenda Johnson of Decatur; Rebecca Johnson of Cerro Gordo; brothers, John Renner (Dianne) of Decatur; Bill Renner (Sandy) of Homer Glen, IL; 12 grandchildren , and 1 step-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial gathering will be 1-3 PM Saturday April 20, 2013 in Wilder Haven's East Recreation Center. Private family burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery at a later date.
