Louise Sharpe Harpster's Obituary
Lovington-Louise Sharpe Harpster, 95, of Lovington, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Arthur Home.
She was born March 3, 1919 in Lovington the daughter of Eldo and Ina (Gentry) Sharpe. She graduated from Lovington High School and was a secretary at Wagner Casting Company and bookkeeper at Semmel’s Dress Shop in Decatur. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, baking, and cooking. She was a member of the Lovington United Methodist Church and volunteered with DMH Auxiliary and Heritage Behavioral Center. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and was affectionately known as “Aunt Beezie”. She married John Raymond Harpster Jr. He preceded her in death March 7, 1983.
She leaves behind her sister Pauline Miller and several loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Graveside services to celebrate Louise’s life will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Macon County Memorial Park.
