Louise Ruth Horve's Obituary
Decatur-Louise Ruth (Repak) Horve, 93, of Decatur, passed away at 11:13 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011.
Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to DMH Hospice. Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with these arrangements. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
Louise was born March 5, 1918 in Beaumont, Texas the daughter of Peter and Lily (Gibson) Repak. She grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to Philadelphia where she met her husband, Marshall. They were married on February 4, 1938 and left Philadelphia to become permanent Decatur residents.
She was a dedicated housewife and enjoyed arts and crafts with her husband.
She leaves a son, Leslie and wife Betty of Las Vegas, Nevada, daughter, Janice Roddis of Decatur, daughter-in-law, Teresa Horve of Edinburg, ten grandchildren, and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy-three years, parents, son, David, grandson, Bradley, son-in-law, Rick Roddis, a brother, and five sisters.
The family would like to thank her neighbors, the Reeds for helping her, Amy Booth, her care giver, and DMH Hospice.
