Luella Lange's Obituary
Luella Lange, 95, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Heritage Health in Mt. Zion.
She was born July 28, 1923, in Lone Grove Township, IL to William and Clara (Schnake) Hinrichs. She married Gustav G. Lange on September 9, 1945. He passed away on January 3, 2001. Luella was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She loved spending time with her family and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball and Wheel of Fortune.
She is survived by her son, Stanley (Gayle) Lange of Decatur; her daughter, Kathy (Kevin) Zeurcher of Decatur; her sister-in-law, Bernice Hinrichs of Altamont; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gustav; her daughter, Susan Rhodes; son-in-law, David Rhodes; her infant brother, Arthur Hinrichs; her brother, Paul Hinrichs; her sister, Florence Lange; and her special friend, Don Oakleaf.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Luella Lange will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2019, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church before the service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church 1 Bachrach Ct, Decatur, IL 62526.
