Lynette Sue High's Obituary
Lynette Sue High, 54, of Decatur, passed away, Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Lynette was born in Decatur on December 22, 1958 the daughter of Richard and Sharon (Hood) Shepard. She attended Salem Baptist Church and previously worked as a lunch room supervisor for District 61 and a housekeeper at McKinley Court.
Surviving are children, Angela High and William 'Billy' High of Decatur; granddaughter, Angelena Victoria Sue High of Decatur; sister, Ronda (Steven) Vest of Decatur; brothers: Richard (Carol) Shepard, Jr., of Macon, GA, Rodney Shepard of O'Fallon, MO, and Terry Shepard of Decatur; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lynette was preceded in death by her parents.
Services to celebrate her life will be 11 am, Monday, January 14, 2013 in the Graceland/Fairlawn funeral home; visitation will begin at 10 am. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Diabetes Association.
