M. Mildred Lee's Obituary
Decatur-M. Mildred Lee, 93, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, formerly of Decatur, went peacefully to be with the Lord at 5:45 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010 at her home with her family by her side.
Services to celebrate Mildred's life will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 19, 2010 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment with 'Flight Home' Ceremony will be in the Veteran's Section at Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Mildred was born July 25, 1917 in Jacks Fork, Missouri the last of twelve children to William and Polly (Randolph) Dillard. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She and Maurice were long time residents of Decatur. She has resided the last six years in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Mildred had a great love for life, loved to spend time with her family, and she and Maurice traveled to many places around the world together. She loved to paint and was very artistic. She married Maurice C. Lee April 25, 1953. They shared fifty-two years together. He preceded her in death July 16, 2005.
She leaves behind her sons; Michael and wife Sally of Decatur, David and wife Cindy of Eufaula, Oklahoma, and William and wife Lorelie of Decatur, daughters; Donna Shaw and husband Bill of Mt. Zion, Kathy Tolberd and husband George of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Robyn Cleland and husband Barry of Mesa, Arizona, thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents, husband, daughter; Clara Gaye Bunton, infant son, grandchild; Linda Kay Shaw, and three infant great-grandsons.
