M. Pauline Scroggins' Obituary
Decatur-Pauline Scroggins, 88, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Eastview Terrace in Sullivan with her family by her side.
Pauline was born July 4, 1926 in Gobler, Missouri, the daughter of Harry and Pearl (Hopkins) Thompson. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Zion Christian Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and camping. Pauline married Cecil I. Scroggins December 17, 1945. He preceded her in death February 21, 2002.
Pauline leaves behind her children Cecil W. Scroggins of Decatur, Earl (Angela) Scroggins of Frankfort, James (Julie) Scroggins of Paris, Tommy (Melody) Scroggins of Decatur, and Petsula (Steve) Webb of Decatur, brother Danny Moody of Oreana, sister Margie (Ed) Nozicka of Stevensville, Michigan, and by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Pauline was reunited in Heaven with her parents and husband.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Eastview Terrace for all of their loving care.
Services to celebrate Pauline’s life will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the services. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Zion Christian Church.
