Mabel Ruth Willis' Obituary
Mabel Ruth (Rambo) Willis, 83, of Moweaqua, IL, died August 29, 2025, at Imboden Creek Senior Living in Decatur, IL.
Mabel was born May 17, 1942, in rural Shelby County, the daughter of Fred and Ruth (Furnish) Rambo Jr. She married Don Willis on December 2, 1983. He preceded her in death April 26, 2008.
Mabel worked several jobs in Decatur, at Jiffy Stop in Missouri, and at Casey’s in Moweaqua.
Surviving are sons Jeff (J’Nee) Crawley and Ray Crawley; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother Homer (Marilyn); sister Vivian; and brothers-in-law Bill Wiseman and Howard Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Vicki Lynn Crawley; sisters Shirley Grove and husband J. Robert, Linda Wiseman, and Barbara Reynolds; and niece Terri Grove.
Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home is providing cremation services for Mabel. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery in Moweaqua. Memorials may be directed to Special Olympics. Condolences may be shared with the family at https://www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
