Majoria Lee Mayhugh's Obituary
Decatur-Majoria Lee Mayhugh, 80, of Decatur, passed away at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2009 at Decatur Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
Services to celebrate Majoria’s life will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home, with Pastor Clyde R. Mayhugh officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Entombment will be at the Pieta Mausoleum in Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Shults Lewis Children’s Service or Easter Seals. Online condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
Majoria was born July 31, 1929 in Arthur, the daughter of Rosco and Vernie (McKay) Shetler. She was a retired bookkeeper. She was a member of Sunnyside Church of Christ.
She leaves behind her daughters; Barbara Scheibly of Decatur and Annette Shaffer of Warrensburg, son; Clyde R. Mayhugh and wife Annette of Winchester, sisters; Wanda Roberts of Decatur and Lovetia Vannier of Omaha, Nebraska, grandchildren; Randy Taylor and husband Edward, Kyle Mayhugh and wife Alta, Teva Winterfield, Holli Schorey and husband Josh, Aaron Overheul and husband Andy, Katybeth Curtis and husband Daniel, Shea Scheibly, and Matthew Shaffer, and great-grandchildren; Lacey, Raymond, Ruby, Robert, Remmington, William, Patrick, Peyton, and Rafe.
She was reunited in heaven with her parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
