Mandi J. Morlan's Obituary
Mandi JoAnn Morlan, 37, of Decatur passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Mandi was born on August 13, 1977 in Decatur the daughter of Richard Morlan Sr. and Karen J. Eckart. She enjoyed scrapbooking, card making, gaming, and football Go Bears! She owned Simple Graces Photography.
Surviving are her parents, Richard Morlan Sr. and Jeanie (Morlan) Bonnett of Decatur; daughter, Ava Grace Hadfield of Decatur; boyfriend, Paul Hadfield of Decatur; grandmother, Phyllis J. Eckart (Burns) of Decatur; brothers, Richard Morlan Jr. (Jerri) of Macon; Ryan Morlan (Kristi) of Dalton City; sister Lori Morlan of Decatur; nieces and nephews, Kylar, Olivia, Austin, Jordan, Alyssa, Aliyah, Maggie, and Maximus; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, Daniel R. Bonnett and grandfather, Bill Eckart.
Services to celebrate Mandi’s life will be 11 AM Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with Pastor Mitch Flesch. Visitation will be 9:30 – 11 AM Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery and conclude with the “Flight Home” ceremony. Memorials are suggested to the family.
Mandi selflessly touched so many lives by donating her organs through the Gift of Hope program.
