Margaret Luella Cox's Obituary
Margaret L. (Price) Cox, 64, of Decatur, passed away February19, 2020 at Villa Clara Post Acute.
Margaret was born August 10, 1955, in Decatur, the daughter of Rollie and Lola (Branson) Price. She graduated from Lakeview High Scholl in 1973. She married Tony J. Cox on February 25, 1981.
Margaret worked at CPD (Cenois Private Detectives) and then Jewell Food Stores until its closing. She loved shopping, crafting and working in her flower gardens.
Margaret always put her family and others before herself and she loved to spend time with her family, her nephew, Dylan and with her grandchildren until the decline in her health.
Surviving are her husband, Tony, her sister, Christine Price and brother-in-law James Gentry, her nephew Dylan (Tiffany Reed) Price, her 2 sons, 3 grandsons, one granddaughter and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Burial services will be at a later date in North Fork Cemetery in Decatur, where she will be laid to rest alongside her parents, grandparents and Uncle.
The family would like to thank the staff at Generations McKinley Court and Transitions Hospice for their compassionate care and friendship to both Margaret and Tony. Your support will always be remembered and cherished.
